There are almost 400 listed buildings in Tewkesbury noted as being of special architectural or historic interest.

 

By far the most important being the  majestic C12th Abbey of St Mary the Pearl in the centre of the beautiful conservation area of Tewkesbury and, next to the Battlefields where the Yorkists and Lancastrians fought the most bloody battle of the Civil Wars in 1471
